Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a minute hole having the same diameter as that of a wire material in an exfoliated plate, in the manufacture of a head for use in an ink jet plotter, by repeating the formation and exfoliation of an electrocast film by use of an electrocasting base material in which the wire material is projected. CONSTITUTION:A wire material 1 such as a nickel wire, a stainless steel wire or the like having a diameter coincident with the diameter of a desired minute hole is placed in a molten resin 6 such as an epoxy resin or the like, and hardened. Then, the surface of the resin 6 intersecting rectangularly the wire material 1 is subjected to grinding to form a ground surface 7, which is etched in an oxygen plasma atmosphere to form a resin base material surface 9 projecting the wire material by a desired dimension. A conductivity processed film 10 is formd on the base material surface by the conductivity giving processing thereby to form an electrocast film 12. The electrocast film 12 of a desired thickness is formed on the conductivity processed film 10 of the electrocasting base material 11, and thereafter the electrocast film 12 is exfoliated, whereby a plate 14 having a minute hole 13 having an inner diameter equal to the diameter of the wire material 1 can be obtained.
