Abstract
PURPOSE:To form ink particles stably by forming a nozzle inside wall with a member having a special range of a contact angle with ink and an opening end surface of a nozzle with a member having a larger contact angle using the above mentioned ink jet head. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle base body 16 is formed with a material (stainless steel, nickel, glass etc.) having a contact angle less than 90 deg. and further a nozzle end surface is formed with a material 17 (fluoroplastic, silicone resin etc.) having a contact angle against an ink larger than that of the nozzle base body member. Since the nozzle and surface is difficult in getting wet the the ink, the conditions by which ink particles are cut down from the nozzle 20 is maintained always constant and can form the ink particles stably.
