Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a number of minute holes in a reinforcing plate in the manufacture of a multinozzle head used in an ink jet plotter by forming an electrocast bar by electrocasting a wire material, cutting the bar in a predetermined thickness to form a plurality of chips, and fixing the bar on the reinforcing plate and removing the wire material. CONSTITUTION:By electrocasting a wire material such as a copper wire or the like having a diameter the same as the diameter of a desired minute hole, an electrocast layer 2 is formed around the wire material 1 thereby to obtain an electrocast bar 3. Then, the bar 3 is subjected to a slicing operation by a cutting edge 6 into a number of chips 7, and a spheroidal recession 8 is formed by grinding one surface of each chip 7. Then, a plurality of recessions 10 are formed at a required pitch on one surfce of a planer reinforcing plate, and chips 7 are fixed to the recessions 10. Then, this reinforcing plate 9 is impregnated in an NaCN solution at a temperature of from 40 to 50 deg.C, and ultrasonic wave is used in combination, whereby the wire material 1 is molten and removed to form minute holes 12 having the same diameter and the same configuration as those of the wire material 1.
