Abstract
PURPOSE:To raise assembling operativity and liquid leaking resistance by covering the outer cylinder of a molded positive electrode mixture and at least upper end outside edge portion of its end surface with a thermoshrinking synthetic resin film. CONSTITUTION:The current collector 8 is spot-welded to the inside bottom and the cylindrical metal case 1 whose upside is provided with an opening is housed with the molded positive electrode mixture 2 well touchable with the current collector 8. And, the outer cylinder of the molded positive electrode mixture 2 and the upper end outside edge portion of its end are covered with a thermoshrinking synthetic resin film 4, and also not only the molded positive electrode mixture 2 but also the upper end outside edge portion of the outer cylinder and end surface of laminated portion including the separator material 3 superposed on the positive electrode mixture 2 are covered with the film 4 as needed.
