Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the appearance of a wrist watch and improve the reliability of the watch by forming a resin layer containing black pigment operating also as a clearance on the back surface of a solar battery when assembling the solar battery made of amorphous silicon on the back surface of a cover glass for a wrist watch. CONSTITUTION:A solar battery made of amorphous silicon is formed on the back surface of a cover glass 5 for a wrist watch, divided negative electrodes 6 are coated on the back surface thereof. Then, a silicon electrode 7 extending on the electrode 6 is formed between the electrodes 6, and aluminum electrode 8 connected to the electrodes 6 is similarly extended on the electrode 7. In this manner a wrist watch having a solar battery is formed on the back surface of a cover glass 5. At this time an epoxy resin layer 9 containing black pigment such as carbon or the like is screen printed to the portion at the clearance on the back surface of the solar battery including the electrode 8. In this manner, the indication of the watch is improved to enhance the environmental resistance of the electrode 9.
