Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the air tightness and to reduce the cost remarkably, by inserting a ferromagnetic ring between a base and a cover made of thermoplastic resin and melting the base and cover contacted with the ferromagnetic ring. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric oscillator is contained in a package consisting of a thermoplastic resin base 1 the cross section of which is of recess shape and a cover 2 made of thermoplastic resin covering the upper side of the recess. In this case, a ferromagnetic substance ring 4 which circulates on the upper side of recess of the base 1 and the upper part of the cover opposing to the base 1, is inserted between the base 1 and the cover 2. The base 1 and the cover 2 contacted with the ring 4 are molten and fixed with high frequency induction heating 5. Thus, complete air tightness can be achieved between the base 1 and the cover 2.
