Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a sufficient mechanical strength and improve cooling effect of the titled rotor by a mechanism wherein the first hole is perforated toward an axle direction, followed by perforating the second hole which connects the first hole and the outer circumferential surface of a rotor shaft, and through said two holes, a heat transmitting body which thermally connects a cooling fin and winding wires is installed. CONSTITUTION:The first hole 8 having an opening at an end part 7 on the rotor shaft 1 is provided, followed by perforating a second hole 9 which connects the inside of the first hole 8 and the outer circumferential surface of the rotor shaft 1. The whole body consists of a heat pipe 11 which a hat transmitting body shown by 10 being inserted into the first hole 8 and a portion 12 being formed by casting which thermally connects the heat pipe 11 and an end ring 6a through the second hole 9. The casted portion 12 is formed by the internal chill method with a cage type wiring 4 and aluminum inside, while aluminum is also casted inbetween the outer circumferential surface of heat pipe 11 and the inner circumferential surface of the first hole 8. The cooling fin 13 is fixed at a portion where the heat pipe 11 protrudes from the rotor shaft 1. By said mechanism, improvement of cooling effect can be obtained.
