Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve heat radiation, by providing an auxiliary disc on one side of a radial radiating fin attaching to a boss, and by providing an auxiliary fin on the auxiliary disc. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary disc 10 is provided on one end of a housing of a radial radiating fin 9a. An auxiliary fin 11 is provided between radiating fins 9a on the auxiliary disc 10 surface. The heat produced at a hollow shaft 5 escapes from the boss 8 to the atmosphere through the radiating fin 9a, auxiliary disc 10, and auxiliary fin 11. The addition of transmission area increases heat radiation due to the auxiliary disc 10 and auxiliary fin 11. The united formation of boss 8, auxiliary disc 10, auxiliary fin 11, and radiating fin 9a betters its heat transmission and strength by die casting technique.
