Abstract
PURPOSE: To ensure a long life and the maintenance of performance by preventing overheat while improving cooling efficiency, by disposing a fan outside of fins for cooling, and by inducing and fluidizing a cooling wind after cooling the fins toward an external surface of a machine box.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of laminar cooling fins 26 are mounted to a rear end 18b of a rotor shaft 18 in shapes that are radially projected through a sleeve 24. A fan 28 is arranged at a position rearer than the rear end 18b of the rotor shaft 18 to which the cooling fins 26 are installed, a cooling wind from the fan 28 is sent toward the cooling fins 26, and the effect of the radiation of the fins 26 is improved. An inside end of a fin cover 30 forms opening shape while a fixed void is made up between the inside end and an external surface of a machine box 12, and the fin cover 30 extends from an outer circumferential portion of the fins 26 and surrounds one portion of the rear end side of the machine box 12. Thus, cooling efficiency can be improved.
