Abstract

PURPOSE: To carry out the removal of phosphorous without exhausting washing exhaust water out of a system by a method wherein a phosphoric acid containing exhaust water added with a flocculating agent is filtered by a moving bed type filtering machine and the flocks within a washed and polluted exhaust water exhausted from a filter material washing system are separated, thereafter a supernatant water is returned to an original exhaust water.
CONSTITUTION: The raw water 101 introduced into a raw water tank is supplied under pressure by a pump 103 and, after an inorg. type flocculating agent 104 is added and mixed by an in-line mixer 105, filtered by a moving bed type filtering machine 106 to obtain a filtered and treated water. Subsequently, an org. type high molecular flocculating agent 110 is poured to a washed and polluted water 109 continuously exhausted from a filter material regenerating and separating tower 108 and, after mixed by an in-line mixer 111 to grow flocks, the flocks are separated by precipitation in a precipitating tank 112 and an overflowed supernatant water 113 is returned to a raw water tank 102. On the other hand, the flocks precipitated in a precipitating tank 112 is concentrated in a sludge storage tank 115 and, after a filter aid is added, exhausted as a dehydrated cake 119 by a dehydrating machine 118.
