Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the scattering of dust, by the method wherein the bubbles produced from a mixture of a liquid and a surface-active agent are sent into a gas conduit and are transport while moistening dust attached to the pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A mixture of paraffin mineral oil, water and a surface-active agent is enclosed in bubbling device 4, and gas is introduced through a mesh and thereby bubbles are produced. The resultant bubbles are drawn into receiver 5. After excess gas and liquid are removed by liquid-gas weight separation, only bubbles are sent to the pressure-reducing pipe in the lower stream below valve 1 and transported toward the side of the other valve 2. By this, dust attached to the pipe is moistened successively, and the scattering of dust is prevented.
