Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a wet lime stone method gas exhausting and desulfurizing apparatus eliminating water exhaustion as well as not deteriorating the desulfurizing ratio and the lime stone reactivity even if impurities are accumulated by a method wherein the desulfurization is carried out by using lime stone, a mixture of lime stone and dolomite or a lime stone-containing slurry.
CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas 25 is entered into the first absorbing tower and impurities such as dust or halogen compound and a portion of SO2 are removed, thereafter the said gas is entered into the second absorbing tower 28 from a line 27 and, after almost all of SO2 is removed, exhausted out of a system as a purified gas 29. A mixture 30 of lime stone and dolomite is slurried along with a supernant 32 from a thickner 31 within an absorbing agent preparing tank 33 and supplied into the second absorbing tower from a line 34. In the first absorbing tower 26, is drawn out a slurry taking in impurities such as dust or halogen compound and a portion of SO2 from an exhaust gas from a line 41 and the said slurry is sent into a solid and liquid separator 37 to be separated into a clarified liquid 38 and a cake 41.
