CONSTITUTION: High pressure waste gas from a blast furnace 1 is sent into a dry dust remover 3 and a Venturi scrubber 21 to be rid of dust, and is supplied into a combustion chamber 9 of a hot stove in the high pressure state. In this case, high calorie gas 10 such as coke oven gas is mixed through a blower 11. This high pressure gas and high pressure air from high pressure blower 18 are burnt in the combustion chamber 9, and led into a regenerator 19 to accumulate heat by heating gitter bricks. Then, the high pressure combustion waste gas is recovered in a waste gas turbine 24 as pressure energy and thermal energy. The waste gas reduced to low temperature and low pressure is released to the atmosphere through a stack 17.
