Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to carry out the recovery of sludge by a post-treating surface through a mechanism wherein, in the case of treating the water to be treated by passing it through an oxidation treating tank, a separation tank, a denitrification tank, a sedimentation tank and a flocculation separation tank in the order successively, the sludge at a sedimentation tank and a separation tank is returned to an oxidation treating tank and the sludge at a flocculation separation tank to a denitrification tank.
CONSTITUTION: The water to be treated from an oxidation treating tank 1 is supplied to a separation tank 2 and a portion of recovered sludge is returned to an oxidation treating tank 1 through a return sending passage R1. Subsequently, the treated water from a separating tank 2 is sent to a denitrification tank and the treated water is supplied to a sedimentation tank 5 and a total amount of the recovered sludge is returned to an oxidation treating tank 1 through a return passage R2. The treated water from a sedimentation tank 5 is supplied to a flocculation separation tank 6 and the recovered sludge is returned to a denitrification tank 4. Thereby, because exessive sludge is taken out only from a separation tank 2, only high concentrated sludge from an oxidation treating tank 1 is post-treated and the treatment thereof becomes easy.
