Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce variation of MLSS in an aeration tank during the day by a method wherein a time curved line of a sludge return flow amount and an excessive sludge flow amount for reducing variation of MLSS during the day to the minimum is operated corresponding to an appointed adjusting number to adjust operation of a sewage treating apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: A time curved line of an adjustable amount of a sludge return flow amount and an excessive sludge flow amount over 24hr is fabricated against an estimation value of inflow sewage characteristics to carry out operation of a sewage treating apparatus. In order to fabricate said curved line, a characteristics of variation of a time system data of the operation is grasped to constitute economical algorithm wherein an operation time of an electric calculator is short and memory capacity thereof is small. As the result, an inflow sewage characteristics of a next day can be estimated by a simple method as well as an operation plan capable of appointing an adjusting number during the day can be economically fabricated. The sewage treating apparatus due to an activated sludge process is constituted in such a manner that mixing of a substrate and an activated sludge is promoted by aeration in an aeration tank 1 and thereafter, the resulting mixture is subjected to solid-liquid separation by precipitation in a precipitation basin 2 and supernatant water is discharged from a line 8.
