Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate loss time and realize speed-up of part assembly work in such a way that an assembling mechanism is operated even during the rotation of a turntable without interrupting the assembly work.
CONSTITUTION: Holders h... adapted to hold parts 3... are arranged on a turn table 1 in its circumferential direction, at intervals, and along the periphery the turntable 1 which is continuously rotated by a drive device 2. Then, each assembling arm mechanism 5... is synchronized with the turntable 1 and makes turns in the same direction as the turntable 1 so that it may not change the relative position of each pair of holders H.h. The arm mechanisms 5... reciprocates in the diametral direction of the turntable 1 as shown by arrows. Then, after the arm mechanism 5 has extended in the direction of arrow (X) and picked up parts 3, it retracts in the direction of arrow (Y) and moves onto a fitting plate 4, thereby to assemble parts 3 to the plates 4. This constitution is capable of eliminating loss time and thus making a high-speed assembly work of parts feasible.
