Abstract
PURPOSE: To freely regulate the mixing rate of a fluid to be admixed even when the pressure in a fluid passage is high, by providing in one of two partitioned passages with a structure for varying the cross-sectional area of the passage, and providing in the other passage with a suction port for sucking the fluid to be admixed.
CONSTITUTION: A fluid supplied to a fluid inlet port 1a is divided into two by a partition 2 to flow through a variable passage 1c and an admixing passage 1d, which are extended on upper and lower sides of the partition 2. The two divisional liquid currents meet each other at an outlet port 1b, and the liquid further flows as it is. When a gate 3 provided in the variable passage 1c is regulated to vary the cross-sectional area of the passage 1c, the flow rate of the liquid flowing therethrough is varied. At this time, the flow rate of the liquid flowing in the admixing passage 1d is also varied. Accordingly, the liquid can be sucked from a suction port 4a at a predetermined rate by regulating the flow rate in the admixing passage 1d to control the pressure therein. In other words, this apparatus permits controlling the flow rate of a liquid to be admixed, by merely operating the gate 3 provided in the variable passage 1c. In fact, this apparatus can be handled very simply.
