Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate stable drives of a compressor in controls of supplied gas amount by ejecting fluid out of an ejecting port installed on the wall surface of a decelerating flow passage so as to hydrodynamically decrease substantial flow passage sectional area directly after the outlet port of an impeller.
CONSTITUTION: When a return control valve 15 has been opened, part of gas to flow through a discharge flow passage 3 is ejected through an ejecting port 12 to a decelerating flow passage 10 as shown by an arrow 18. As a result, part to stream a flux 17 to flow out of an impeller 9 in the decelerating flow passage 10 decreases, and flow rate of gas to pass through the impeller 9 decreases. And, since gas capacity delivered through a supply flow passage 6 is equal to the flow rate to pass through the impeller 9, supplied gas capacity through the supply flow passage 6 is controllable by the opening degree of the return flow control valve 15. Thus, a control of supplied gas capacity enables the compressor to stably drive enlarging the passing flow rate through the decelerating flow passage 10 without occurrence of surging.
