Abstract

PURPOSE: To form a thin toner magnetic brush of uniform thickness and density in a simple constitution, by setting the spacing between the magnetic doctor to define the thickness of developer in the magnetic field and the developing member supporting means smaller than the spacing between the developing member supporting means and the latent image holding means.
