Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide accurate and reliable zero-volt switching of SCR with a circuit with reduced number of elements by generating gate trigger signals of SCR by using a microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:Microcomputer 30; an element with arithmetic, memory and control functions, is connected to the output terminal of constant voltage circuit 27 and the output of constant voltage diode 29 is inputted to the interruption terminal of computer 30. A program for interruption process is set by providing a write memory of flag for computer 30. With this arrangement, trigger pulses are generated by means of the interrupt program of computer 30 at such a timing where the wave form of full wave rectifying circuit 25 is set to zero level, SCR is controlled by means of transistor 32 and the load such as for example the zero volt switching of heater can be controlled accurately and reliably, thus enabling to obtain a high performance SCR control system with less circuit elements, lower cost and less power consumption.
