Abstract
PURPOSE:To control for thyristors for conduction with an accurate phase, by detecting the width of a zero cross detecting pulse with a microcomputer and correcting the trigger phase for thyristors or the like in accordance with the width. CONSTITUTION:A zero cross detection circuit 42 consists of a full wave rectifying bridge D0 to which a stepped down voltage of about 15 volts is applied, photocoupler PC and wave shaping circuit, and a zero cross detection pulse ZCP of a low level is generated near the zero cross point of the power supply voltage and it is inputted to an interruption terminal INT of an MPU and the pulse width detection is made by setting the fall as a start point. The load can be controlled via a high-speed switching circuit (not shown) corresponding to a Triac.
