Abstract

NEW MATERIAL:2,3-Dioxopiperazine derivatives of formula I (R1 is H, alkyl, cycloalkyl; R2, R3 is H, alkyl, acyl or incorporate to form heterocyclic ring along with adjacent N) and their acid adducts.
EXAMPLE: 1,4-Bis(1-piperidinylmethyl)-2,3-dioxopiperazine.
USE: Carcinostatic agent with good antitumoregenic action and high toxic selectivity.
PREPARATION: The reaction of a compound of formula II or its derivative with a compound of formula III or its derivative is conducted in an inert solvent as water or THF at -20 W 100°C for 5 min - 12 hr to yield a compound of formula I.
