Abstract
PURPOSE: A heat accumulating tank in which two kinds of hydrogenized metal compounds which can be dehydrogenized on high temperature side and low temperature side respectively are dehydrogenized by the heat of heat exchanging medium, and said hydrogen is stored, and utilizing said hydrogen in utilization of heat, said hydrogenized materials generate heat.
CONSTITUTION: In heat accumulation, heat is accumulated from heat sources such as waste heat and solar heat by the use of a heat exchanger 1, and the heat is transported to a heat exchanger 2 through thermal medium such as water. Due to said heat, the decomposition reaction of hydrogenized metal in the main heat- generation part bi and the heat-generation part b2 for auxiliary heating of a heat generation part b is generated, and the hydrogen produced is sent to a hydrogen storing vesses 6 in the hydrogen storing part d or a hydrogen storing vessel 7 through a hydrogen compression pump 13 to store hydrogen. In utilizing heat, the hydrogen in the vessel 6 is supplied to the heat generation part b2 to generate heat, and the heat generation part bi is heated preliminarily, and by the high temperature heat generated in the heat generation part bi, the heat exchanger 2 is heated in the same way.
