Abstract

PURPOSE: To transport heat of a heat source to a distant place through a hydrogen conduit and heat or cool the air by using heat of reaction produced whek hydrogen is occluded or emitted by metallic hydrides.
CONSTITUTION: The principal metallic hydride 3 in a main container 1 where hydrogen is fully occluded is in equibrium under the specific temperature and hydrogen pressure when it is not heated by an outside heat source 2 e.g. waste or solar heat, etc., but when it is heated by the outside heat source 2, the temperature of the principal metallic hydride 3 rises, the equibrium is broken and occluded hydrogen is emitted. This emitted hydrogen 4 elevates the hydrogen pressure around submetallic hydrides 8 in distant subcontainers 7 through a hydrogen condiut 6, the equibrium of the hydrogen 8 is broken and the hydrogen begins to be absorbed. The temperatures of the hydride 8 and the subcontainers 7 rise by this exothermic reaction. The heat capacity 9 of exothermic reaction of the hydride is transported to the room air by fans, etc. The reverse cource should be traced for cooling the air.
