CONSTITUTION:An electric generator has a heat collector 21 as a heat source and a heat radiator 31 as a cold source, and a thermopile 1 generates heat by the effect of the temperature difference between the heat source and the cold source. A heat accumulator 61 capable of being removed from the collector 21 is heated at a temperature higher than at least the ambient temperature. When the heated accumulator 61 is contained in the accumulator 21, the accumulator 21 transmits the heat of the accumulator 61 to the thermocouple 1. In this case, the thermocouple 1 generates electricity due to the temperature difference between the temperature of the radiator 31 and that of the collector 21.
