Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of two heat exchangers connected by each enclosing two kinds of metallic hydrides, hydrogen equilibrium pressure curves thereof have an intersecting point, into the heat exchanging vessels.
CONSTITUTION: Two kinds of metallic hydrides III, IV, hydrogen equilibrium pressure curves M3, M4 thereof have an intersecting point, are each enclosed into two heat exchangers 1, 2 connected. Thus, since the hydrogen equilibrium pressure of the metallic hydride, hydrogen equilibrium pressure at a high temperature section thereof is higher than that of other metallic hydride, is lower than that of other metallic hydride in a section, a temperature thereof is lower than an intersecting point, hydrogen supplied to the other metallic hydride by heating at the high temperature section can easily be recovered by cooling it at a temperature lower than the intersecting point. Consequently, the heat exchangers can exchange heat efficiently.
