Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the heat exchanging performance by communicating the upper and lower portions of an auxiliary dispenser, which is provided at the cooling medium introducting side of a main dispenser, with the lower and upper portions of main dispenser.
CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary dispenser 5 is provided at the cooling medium introducing side of a main dispenser 4 which is connected to the cooling medium introducing side of heat echange pipes 3 disposed in parallel to one another through fins 2. The upper and lower portions of the auxiliary dispenser 5 are communicated via pipes 8, 7 with the lower and upper portions of the main dispenser 4. Owing to such a construction, a liquid cooling medium flows via the pipe 7 into the upper portion of the main dispnser 4, and a gaseous cooling medium flows via the pipe 8 into the lower portion of the main dispenser 4. The liquid cooling medium is then downwardly moved to be mixed with the gaseous cooling medium which is upwardly moved. The resulting mixed cooling medium flows from the main dispenser 4 into each of the heat exchange pipes 3. Accordingly, the cooling medium flows uniformly through the heat exchange pipes 3 to allow the heat exchanging performance to be improved
