Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve and uniformize quality of high speed development image, by arranging a control plate on a first magnetic roller immediately before developing, installing a second magnetic roller for feeding a developer to this roller, and carrying out an excess of the developer between both the rollers.
CONSTITUTION: A necessary amount of developer is attracted to sleeve 22 with magnets 231W234 of roller 18, part of the developer on sleeve 22 is magnetically moved to sleeve 19 with magnet 202 of roller 17 and the other part of the developer is scraped down with scraper 24 from sleeve 22. The developer fed to developing roller 17 is treated with doctor 21 so as to regulate the height of magnetic brush to a fixed height immediately before developing. An excess of it is removed at that place, and the excess developer drops and fills space B after long time copying. Therefore, it is released through the space between roller 17 and scooping roller 18 by the interaction of magnets 234 and 202. Thus, a high quality image can be obtained.
