Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the same function as a back pressure constriction for an oil pressure absorber without no effect on an extension damping force, which is provided with a piston including a few expansion-and-compression-air ducts. CONSTITUTION:A piston rod 3 in connection with a piston rod 3 extends freely in a cylinder 1. A base valve 6 is provided at the bottom of the cylinder 1 and is concentrically enclosed by an outer tube 7. The oil pressure absorber includes them and a tank 8 formed between the tube 7 and the cylinder 1. A few ducts 15 communicating the upper liquid compartment 4 with the lower 5 are included through in the shell of the piston 2. A leaf valve 22 freely opened or closed is provided at the lower end of the duct 15, having an orifice 23 facing the duct. When the leaf valve 22 is closed, the orifice 23 communicates the duct with the lower chamber 4. A plate valve is represented by a number 16.
