Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the wiring area, by constituting a part of the inverter with a plural number of base island regions, when the inverter cosisting of opposite construction longitudinal transistors and the injector consisting of complementary transversal transistors taking the base as collector are integrated on one substrate made of semiconductor. CONSTITUTION:The base region of one opposed construction longitudinal transistor is split into the first base region B1 and second base region B2 of two island diffusion region, and the first collector C1 is placed in the region B1 and the second collector region C2 is in the region B2. In this case, the location of the collectors C1 and C2 is specified at the location shown in Figure from the location of the input and output of other gates. Similarly, the location of the wirings 1 to 7 is taken as Figure. Thus, the wiring area is taken small and the layout freedom of I<2>L can be increased.
