Abstract
PURPOSE: To clean the exhaust gas containing harmful gases with a high cleaning rate, by making the exhaust gas react with the reacting absorbing agent in the fluidized-bed reaction tower and, after that, by removing the reaction product with the dust collector.
CONSTITUTION: The exhaust gas containing harmful components such as HCl, SO2, etc., is introduced into the fluidized-bed reaction tower 2 from the lower part through the duct 1. Lime or limestone powder is charged as the reacting absorbing agent to the reaction tower 2 with the screw conveyor 6 of the feeder for the reacting absorbing agent. The reacting absorbing agent and HCl, SO2, etc. react and the reaction product is formed on the surface of the reacting absorbing agent. Because the reacting absorbing agent is in the fluidized state in the reaction tower 2, the reaction product on the surface of the above agent is peeled off owing to the mutual contact, is collected and removed as fine powder with the dust collector 3. For the reacting absorbing agent, a new surface is exposed owing to the peeling-off of the reaction product on the surface, so that the agent reacts again with the harmful components in the exhaust gas and removes them. The exhaust gas is cleaned at the dust collector and is discharged through the stack 5.
