Abstract
PURPOSE: An incinerator exhaust has treating apparatus capable of promoting reaction and also capable of effectively using Ca-alkaline agent without loss and with high reaction rate, having the mechanism in which water from water-spraying tube or water-jetting tube provided between the Ca-alkaline agent particle moving layers is sprayed or getted into extanst gas, which water is also sprayed into the moving layer on the downstream side.
CONSTITUTION: High temperature incinerator exhaust gas is, after being cooled to 250 to 150°C preferably, introduced into the apparatus 1 through the exhaust gas inlet 6, where the exhaust gas is brought into contact with the Ca-alkaline agent particle 2 packed in the reaction-dust collecing layer 4 on the upstream side to convert HCl and SO2 present in the exhaust gas into respective CaCl2 and CaSO3 and also to collect dust at the dust collecting layer 4. Then, the exhaust gas containing unreacted HCl and SO2 and fine dust is sent to the reaction-dust collecting layer 4a on the downstream side, where the unreacted gaseous HCl is brought into contact with water 5 sprayed to form aqueous HCl solution, CaO in the layer 4a is converted into Ca(OH)2, and HCl and SO2 are rapidly converted into respective CaCl2 and CaSO3. And, the fine dust present in the exhaust gas is collected at the layer 4a, and purified exhaust gas is discharged 7
