Abstract

Then, the gas is brought into contact with liquid sulfur in a scrubber 4 to remove the halides of NH3 and dust, cleaned gas is directed into a Clause reactor 5, and sulfur formed is sent to a condenser through a duct 6 to recover it in the form of liquid sulfur. Dust mixed in the liquid sulfur in the scrubber 4 is removed by a sulfur filter 7 and then discharged through a discharge pipe 8 to the outside.
