Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase desulfurization rate, to prevent white smoke, heighten diffusion effect and to reduce the possibility of loading of the filter cloth due to mist in a semidry desulfurizing device by raising the temperature of outlet gas of reaction tower once and then leading to a bag filter.
CONSTITUTION: The temperature of waste gas 10 is lowered by a rotary heater 7, and the gas is led to a reaction tower 2 from a flue 1. The gas is then desulfurized by spraying alkaline solution or slurry. The outlet gas of the reaction tower is heated by a rotary heater 7, led to a bag filter 4 and subjected to dust removing and secondary desulfurizing. The cleaned gas is discharged from a stack 5.
