Abstract
PURPOSE: To remove hydrogen chloride, sulfur dioxide or the like in exhaust gas effectively by absorption through a mechanism wherein an acidic gas absorbing agent is sprayed in a exhaust smoke passage to absorb acidic gases and thereafter recovered along with dust powders as well as a part thereof is milled to reuse.
CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas treating apparatus comprises a lime silo 7, a slurry forming device 8, an air compressor 6 or the like. The exhaust smoke generated from an incinerator, a melting furnace 7 or the like is passed through a flue 2a, 2b, 2c or the like and discharged into atomosphere, but a plural of an acidic gas absorbent injecting ports AWF or the like are provided in the exhaust smoke passage. Caustic lime or the like are supplied from a lime silo 7 by compressed air feeded from above described air compressor 6 to a slurry forming device 8 to prepare a caustic lime slurry and this slurry is injected to exhaust smoke from an injecting ports AWF or the like to absorb acidic gases onto the surface of absorbent particles. Because the interior of said absorbent particles has activity, after recovered, a part of them is milled by a milling and mixing machine 10 to expose the inner active component and reused after mixed with caustic lime or the like.
