Abstract

PURPOSE: To decrease nonvolatile impurities contained in bottom-product liq., by feeding a portion of product liq. drawn off the evaporating column bottom to a kettle reboiler so asto evaporate nearly total amount of the fed liq., and by returning the vapor to the evaporating column bottom.
CONSTITUTION: Liq. 1 contg. nonvolatile impurities is fed to an evaporating column 2, and the top vapor 3 contg. no impurities described above is divided into top product liq. 6 and reflux liq. 7. A portion of the bottom product liq. of the column 2 is drawn off through the line 8, and the residual portion is fed 10 to a kettle reboiler 9, the total amount of which is evaporated to form vapor contg. no nonvolatile impurities, which is returned to the column bottom through a line 11. A small amount of conc. soln. of the nonvolatile imputities held in the reboiler 9 is drawn off through a line 12. Hereby, product loss is made as small possible without increasing heat quantity to be added to the reboiler for evaporation
