Abstract
PURPOSE: To permit enlargement of evaporator without causing the reduction of evaporating performance by dividing the inside of casing into multistages by heating plates and evaporating liquid jet plates and by passing high temperature fluids and evaporating liquid in the mutaully intersecting direction with the interposition of distribuding rooms for each.
CONSTITUTION: The evaporating liquid introduced from the inlet 53 to the distributing room 63a is distributed in the axial direction, introduced into the evaporation path 64 uniformly, and jetted from the jetting hole 63a onto the plate 66. On the other hand, high temperature fluid is supplied through the inlet 54 and the fluid distributing room 61 to the fluid path 68. This high temperature fluid is heat-exchanged with evaporating liquid going down along the plat 66, then collected in the liquid collecting room 62, and lastly discharged 55. The vapor evaporated in heat exchanging with high temperature fluid is discharged 52 through the path 65 and the collecting room 60. Thus, the distributing rooms 59 and 61 having sufficient capacity uniformly distribute the evaporating liquid and high temperature liquid and thus raise the heat transmission performance of evaporator, so that even if evaporator is enlarged, the evaporating performance can be kept without reduction
