Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent low-temperature corrosion of a heat exchanger tube by a method wherein a liquid with high temperature of a heat transfer medium is returned to a lower header, and a temperature of the heat exchanger tube metal is retained at dew point or higher.
CONSTITUTION: Panels (Xb3, Xd3) on the fourth row from high-temperature side and panels (Yb1, Yd1) on inlet side of a low-temperature duct are connected; panels (Xb2, Xd2) and panels (Yb2, Yd2), and panels (Xb3, Xd3) and panels (Yb3, Yd3) are connected respectively in line. From such combinations in counter flow and parallel flow, the heat exchanger tube metal temperature of heat exchange panels 2, 4 in a high-temperature duct which has been below dew point will come up to dew point or higher, and thus low-temperature corrosion of the tube can be prevented.
