Abstract

PURPOSE: To prenvent attaching of scale in a heat absorption tube wall and to improve a cooling efficiency without necessitating any specific pump.
CONSTITUTION: Valves 6 and 9 are provided in a condensate pipe 15 and a water supplying pipe 10, respectively. These valves are communicated with each other as at 16 and 17. Valves 7 and 8 are attached to the connection paths respectively. The valve 6 and 9 are opened and the valve 7 and 8 are closed normally. When a pump 5 is driven, the cooling water is circulated in that order of a condenser pump 15, pump 5, heat absorption tube 14, water supplying tube 10 and finally a cooling tower 11 to cool a heat exchanger 4. In order to remove the scale in the heat exchanger 4 by utilizing the reverse flow, the valve 6 and 9 are closed and the valve 7 and 8 are opened to supply the water. In this case, the cooling water enters from a discharge port 13 to the heat absorption tube 14 and is discharged from an entrance port 12 to remove the scale. According to such a construction, the adhesion of the scale in the heat absorption tube can be prevented without requiring any water supplying pump to raise a cooling efficiency.
