Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform water making efficiently with simple constitution by making the upper walls of an evaporating chamber which are double walls transmittable of infrared rays, providing a solar heat absorbing plate inclinedly in the evaporating chamber and providing raw liquid distributing nozzles to the absorbing plates.
CONSTITUTION: The raw liquid such as sea water which is sent from a raw liquid pump 9 for cooling and passed the inside of double walls 6 flows into a raw liquid chamber 13, flows out from the respective nozzles 12 of a raw liquid distributing chamber 11 and flows down in the form of a thin film on an absorbing plate 10. The plate 10 is held heated to high temperatures by being irradiated with the solar beams condensed by a condenser 1 through the double walls 6. The thin-filmlike raw water evaporates while flowing down on this plate. The evaporated steam condenses by being cooled with the raw liquid flowing in the double walls 6 and flows down as water drops on the inside surfaces of the double walls 6. The water drops are gathered in a produced water flow channel 17. Thence, this produced water is sent from a transfer pump 21 into a produced water storage tank 20.
