Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce easily distilled water by withdrawing water droplets obtained from a condenser while making up water which is absorbed by an absorbent.
CONSTITUTION: Steam is separated in a separator 2 from absorbent-cotaining vapor produced by boiling in a regenerator 1. The steam is cooled and condensed in a condenser 3 to form water droplets which are passed through a pipe 24 into a vessel 26 where water is stored. Liquid such as sea water, sewage, etc. to be distilled is heated in an evaporator 4a to evaporate. The vapor obtained is introduced into an absorption vessel 5. A concentrated solution containing the absorbent separated in the separator 2 is transferred to a concentrated solution tank 7 where the temperature is lowered, and then introduced into the absorption vessel 5, and further cooled by means of a cooling water pipe 16. The concentrated solution containing the absorbent absorbs the vapor produced in the evaporator 4a. whereby the concenterated solution is changed to a diluted solution. The diluted solution is returned to the evaporator 1. The above cycle is repeated.
