Abstract

PURPOSE: Water warmed by a solar energy absorber is circulated through a low temperature evaporator and a solar absorber, whereby seawater or dirty water is evaporated in the low temperature evaporator, providing potable water, this process being used in any area to economically and easily produce water.
CONSTITUTION: Seawater or dirty water 1 is charged through the pipe 2 and stored in the low temperature evaporator 3. Solar heat S heats the water in the solar energy absorber 6 to about 60°C. The heated water is temporarily stored in the warm water tank 8. The warm water from the tank 8 is used to evaporate seawater or dirty water in the low temperature evaporator 3, then returned to the solar energy absorber 6, and heated again. Water vapor evaporated from the device 3 is cooled and condensed by the seawater or dirty water obtained through the pipe 5 and discharged as pure water W.
