Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the frequency of scale cleaning operations of a heating evaporation type humidifier by detachably attaching a scale adsorptive plate to the top of the humidifier to thereby adsorb the scale so as to prevent the reduction of the humidifier efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: Hot water boiling in a humidifier tray 9 evaporates with its impurities retained to pass through an exhaust hole 13 of a scale adsorptive plate 12 detachably installed in a humidifier. As the hot water boils in the tray 9, the water surface largely fluctuates to splash water droplets including condensed impurities, which droplets are effectively received by the lower interior surface of the plate 12. Since a heater 11 heats the plate 12 to high temperature, the water content of the droplets thus received by the plate 12 is evaporated with the impurities retained and adhered to the plate 12. Thus, it can eliminate adverse thermal conduction to the water and reduction in evaporating efficiency and reduce the frequency of scale cleaning operations of the plate 12. Since the plate 12 can be easily detached from the humidifier, it can be easily and simply cleaned.
