Abstract
PURPOSE: To miniaturize a gas compressor by arranging control valves with small and large capacities respectively in parallel in a gas bypass apparatus which returns fuel gas which was not consumed in a gas turbine apparatus to the inlet side of the compressor.
CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary control valve 23 which bypasses gas from the discharge side of a gas compressor 10 to the inlet side, controlling a small amount of flow, and a stop valve 24 for auxiliary control valve which allows said control valve 23 to be independent of gas pressure and to be separated are arranged in parallel with an usual control valve 21. The control valve 21 with large capacity, when controlled outside the proper flow amount range,generates hunting to form pressure pulsation, and gives wrong effects on the life of a gas turbine, so the discharge amount of the compressor 12 has been remarkably larger than the consumption amount of a gas turbine 32. But, when the gas bypass amount is small, an auxiliary control valve 23 is used. Accordingly, the gas compressor 12 can be miniaturized corresponding to the consumption amount of the gas turbine 32
