Abstract

In an arrangement for controlling the flow of exhaust gas from an exhaust manifold 12 of an engine to the air inlet manifold 11 controlled by valve 21, to prevent overload on the quantity control member of the pump, an additional valve 25 is provided upstream of the valve 21. The valve 25 is adjusted by a diaphragm unit so that it maintains pressure drop across the flap valve 21 substantially zero. <IMAGE>
