Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce super low carbon steel through decarburization with an inert gas blown from a bottom nozzle to reduce the carbon content to less than 0.01% once aftertthe content is brought down to 0.01 to 0.05% with a converter by blowing oxygen from the top or the bottom thereof - oxiding decarburization.
