Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce formation of Fe2O3 and thus improve blocking yield of steelmaking slag by reacting steel-making slag with a simple combustible substance immediately before solidification of the slag and isolating air by means of formed combustion gases such as carbon dioxide so as to prevent oxidation of the slag.
