Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to maintain required functions even in case of fault of a control part and exchange the faulty part without causing system-down by providing a connection line, which connects plural terminal control parts connected to a computer, and a switching circuit which can connects respective p busses mutually.
CONSTITUTION: In case that terminal control part 3a connected to a computer has become faulty and terminals 5a to 5n have become unavailable, a back-up command is issued from the computer to control part 3b through M bus 2, and connection line 6 is used to disconnect control part 3a and P bus 4a. Then, P bus 4b is used to operate switching circuit 7, and P busses 4b and 4a are connected, and control part 3b operates required minimum fumctions of terminals 5aa to 5an. In case that terminals 5aa to 5an have become faulty and P bus 4a has become unavailable, the connection between control part 3a and P bus 4a is disconnected, and switching circuit 7 is left in the non-connection state, and both ends of the P bus are disconnected, thereby operating only faultless parts.
