Abstract

PURPOSE: To effectively utilize energy at generating time of a thermoelectric power plant by retrieving the energy at gas adiabatic expansion as power and steam heat after generating to thereby heat gas.
CONSTITUTION: Low temperature liquified gas in a storage tank 1 becomes high pressure evaporatee gas by an evaporator 5, and adiabatically expanded by an expander 7 to thus become low temperature low pressure gas. An article 12 to be driven is driven by the expander 7 driven at the adiabatic expanding time to convert pressure energy of the high pressure evaporated gas to power. The gas thus expanded is heated by a preheater 9, and burnt via a boiler 11. The steam generated by the boiler 11 drives a turbine 16 to rotate a generator 20 to thus generate an electricity. The steam heat after generating is retrieved by a condenser 18 to be effectively utilized as the heat source of the preheater 9.
