Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable power generating of a highly thermal efficiency by using cooling water or seawater for cooling an air sucked by an air compressor of a gas turbine power generating system.
CONSTITUTION: After heated by a heat exchanger 2 of an intermediate heat medium and another heat exchanger 3, a liquefied natural gas (LNG) in a line 1 is taken out in the form of a gaseous natural gas. While a water as a heat source is carried through a line 4 into the heat exchanger 3, the LNG or NG is heated. The water is cooled and then transferred into the heat exchanger 2 in order to heat the intermediate heat medium. The water therefore turned cool goes into a heat exchanger 5 for cooling an air used for a gas turbine air compressor. The heated water is fed back into the line 4. Some of the NG in a line 9 is burnt in a combustor 8 to create a burning gas, which is delivered into a gas turbine 10 to drive an air compressor 7 and a generator 11.
